“MTOP has shown me what I am truly passionate about and has given me an outlet to so clearly practice all that I believe and to put my faith to work.” Summer Staffer, 2016
Summer staff isn’t for everyone. Summer staff is for the passionate and compassionate. The intentional investors and the Kingdom advancers. The beautifully broken and the community builders. The legacy leavers and Mountain lovers. Summer staff is all about living out the Gospel by serving others.
Does this sound like something for you?
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- faithful followers of Jesus, willing to bring their ministry and leadership experience to the Mountain.
- eager to manifest the Gospel in word and action across the seven counties of our service area.
- committed to growing spiritually and professionally.
- confident and comfortable in being spiritual leaders.
A summer on the Mountain is not easy. The summer is full of long and tiring days. It very well be the most difficult job you’ll ever have. The work is challenging, but the impact on the community, the campers, and the staffers is eternally significant.
As a summer staffer, you will serve as part of a staff team executing mission programs for either Youth Summer Ministry or Adults in Ministry. You will lead communities of volunteers from all over the country in their mission work (either Day Camp or Service Project) and spiritual practices such as worships and devotionals. Check out these Adults in Ministry job descriptions and Youth Summer Ministry job descriptions for more specifics.
“Daily, I am showered with patience, kindness, gentleness, peace, love, support, and truth. I am beyond thankful for my time on the mountain.” Summer Staffer, 2016
