“MTOP has shown me what I am truly passionate about and has given me an outlet to so clearly practice all that I believe and to put my faith to work.” Summer Staffer, 2016
Do you want to change the world? Do you want to be a part of a 40-year legacy? Do you want to live in the sweet, sweet Cumberland Mountains? Apply for Summer Staff!
We are looking for people just like you to help us further our mission of meeting needs and changing lives by joining the Mountain T.O.P. family.
Our Summer Staff is an integral piece of the Mountain T.O.P. ministry. These young adults provide the backbone of our mission by facilitating our summer programs, both Youth Summer Ministry and Adults in Ministry. The work is challenging, but the impact on the community, our campers nation-wide, and our staff members is far greater.
As a summer staffer, you will serve as a member of either a 5 (AIM), 7 (YSM) or 10 (YSM) person staff executing week-long mission programs. You will lead camp communities of volunteers from all over the country in community development, mission work (either Service Project or Day Camp), and spiritual practices such as worships and devotionals. See Youth Summer Ministry Job Descriptions and Adults in Ministry Job Descriptions for more detailed specifics.
We need people who are eager to grow as a Christian disciple, who are passionate servants, who are willing to be challenged in their abilities, who are ready to realize their potential, who are open to learning new things, and who will commit to a summer in ministry. Will you join us?
“Daily, I am showered with patience, kindness, gentleness, peace, love, support, and truth. I am beyond thankful for my time on the mountain.” Summer Staffer, 2016
