A Tribute to Cody Jorstad

Cody Jorstad has spent the last 3.5 years with Mountain T.O.P. working as one of our Service Area Managers. Cody will be greatly missed at Mountain T.O.P.! However, we know he will succeed with PulteHomes in Nashville.

Cody's major accomplishments in Cody's words:

  • Building off of the groundwork of past Service Area Managers to maintain Mountain T.O.P.'s contractor's license and continue to improve construction techniques and project quality.

  • Improving our budgeting and project management practices for AIM and Spring BreakOut.

  • Helping to create Senior High Camp. Even if we take a pause on it, I think finding a way to do Major Home Repair with high schoolers was a big deal and something we can hopefully build onto in the future!

Cody's favorite part of being on full-time staff at Mountain T.O.P.:

  • My favorite part of being on full-time staff was becoming part of the community in Grundy County. I am proud to be known by people in our community and to be a part of it in more ways than just Mountain T.O.P. Whether it was through church or through being a regular at Hank's Corner Grille trivia, I enjoyed being a member of the larger community while on staff.

Cody is most excited about...

  • I'm excited to build off of my Mountain T.O.P. experiences in a new way. Working at Mountain T.O.P., especially on Major Home Repair projects, instilled in me an understanding of how important high-quality housing is. I'm excited to continue to grow and share that understanding, even within a for-profit company, as I manage the construction of new homes. I'm working with a lot of first-time homebuyers and it's been great to help educate them on their home and see their excitement.

What Cody is going to miss most about Mountain T.O.P.

  • I will miss the families we work with the most. I'll never be able to replace or replicate those relationships. And definitely the folks at Greeter Lumber. Grundy County is home to some of the best people I've ever met!

We feel so blessed to know Cody and have worked with him here at Mountain T.O.P. for the past 3.5 years! We look forward to visits to Nashville as a staff and cheering him on in his new career. We wish him the best of luck in his new endeavors in Nashville! If you would like to send a note of congratulations to Cody, email info@mountain-top.org. We will make sure they are passed to him.
